Surprise!

Party, party, party....a few weeks ago, my sister called and asked if we should throw Mom a surprise 50th Birthday Party! Sounded like fun to me. And even with invitations going out late, and a last-minute location change, and getting over hosting a Baby Shower and coordinating Bible Hour and traveling for work....we pulled it off and I thought it was a beautiful party.

She had a lot of old friends from Westwood, and long-time college friends, and old work friends. There were about 40 people there, and I think everyone had a good time. The best part--she was REALLY surprised! She had no idea!

Anyway, I actually have some cute pictures. I wish I had some with more of the guests that came. But in the meantime, here you go....Julia and I did a great job decorating, if I do say so myself!
I hope she had a fun time. We love you, Mom! Have a great day!
