All I want for Christmas is a Big 12 Championship...there must be a Santa Claus!

What a year...what a game...what a quarterback. It is SO great to be a Sooner, and I'm so excited for this guy, Paul Thompson. If anyone deserves to be at this point, it's him. The whole team--a great example of perseverance. Big 12 Champions, baby!

I have to throw out props to John for his clairvoyance tonight. As we were watching the game, he kept saying "I feel an interception"....and then it happened. Not once, but twice. TWO times John called it as the ball was in the air. Reggie Smith and Lyndie Holmes came thru. And to top it off, he felt a major touchdown as we watched Malcolm Kelly run it in 66 yards. We have witnesses...and they are all amazed at John's ability to forsee major plays. It was amazing.

30 days until the Fiesta Bowl. Sooner Magic is buzzing in the air. It feels like our 2000 National Championship year, when there were no expectations, and success came out of nowhere. We always believe in our team, but this is really icing on the cake.

Boomer Sooner!!!!

Remember when Gabe Mounce would clairvoyantly announce interceptions?

Of course I remember! We watched the game at Brooke and Derek's and they were thinking the same thing. It's so weird!

I do the same thing. When they were backed up on the one yard line, I said, okay 99 yard drive. And sometimes, I'll say, watch for the fake and they will or we need an interception and it will happen. Funny!

Yo Big Sooner Fans. I apologize for the fantastically late comment on this post, but I had no idea my name was being taken in vain :) I sure wished I could have joined in the excitement with you, but alas, I didn't read this post when I should have. Bummer.

I tried this last season, I really did, to read the crystal ball, but my skills are no better than Hermione's. Maybe we all need to get together again...maybe that's what spurred the Maigic.
